Golf Outing Success!
The Northbrook Bluehawks Annual Golf Outing took place this past Friday afternoon, September 9th, at Heritage Oaks Golf Club on Dundee Rd. in Northbrook. Twelve foursomes took to the course in a best ball scramble format and enjoyed 18-holes of golf on a perfect September day, that was 83 degrees and sunny. This event is one of the Hockey Club’s biggest fundraising events of the year, and this year’s event was an overwhelming success!!!
The event included a dinner and drinks in the Brook Room & on the patio at the Acorn Grill overlooking the beautiful golf course afterwards, where a good time was had by all. The Bluehawks would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of the family & friends who attended the event, plus all of the generous donors for the Silent Auction, especially Val Compher, for donating so many wonderful gift baskets & other prizes. The Bluehawks would like to thank the staff at Heritage Oaks, including Head Golf Pro John Billiter and Food & Beverage Manager Maureen O’Connor, for putting on such a wonderful event as well as the Northbrook Park District for donating the golf course. The level of hospitality and care provided by the staff at Heritage Oaks was top notch, and everyone in attendance would agree that they made a good event great!!!
The Bluehawks would like to recognize & thank their Platinum Sponsors including event organizer Brendan Murphy, a Residential Broker w/Coldwell Banker in Northbrook, our Lender partners Jon Goldman & Matt Kennedy of Guaranteed Rate Affinity, John Murphy Painting & Contracting and JT Compher of the Colorado Avalanche.
