Spring Mite ADM

The Northbrook Bluehawks are excited to announce our Spring Mite American Development Model (ADM) hockey program, offering a blend of skill development and competition for all participants. This program is open to all Mite age players and is designed to enhance individual skills while providing players with an opportunity to apply those skills in competitive settings. The program will consist of 14 ice touches.

Weekly Sessions

In general, each team will follow 2 weekly sessions:

Session 1: Skills Training American Development Model (ADM) with Bluehawk Staff / Positional Specific Training: Skaters will receive targeted instruction in key areas, including stickhandling, power skating, shooting, and more. These sessions are designed to improve technical skills, build confidence and develop each players hockey IQ on the ice. Players may also be split into groups (Forward/Defense split) to focus on positional specific training.

Session 2: 3v3: Players will participate in 3v3 with teams created based on appropriate skill level. These 3v3 are designed to increase puck touches and to utilize those skills learned on training days. We will also look to provide our players the opportunity to compete in 3v3 with other local area clubs such as Glenview and Falcons.
