The Northbrook Bluehawks are excited to announce their exclusive partnership with Power Edge Pro (PEP) for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
Power Edge Pro is hockey's leading skills consultancy, with a proven track record of developing top stars in the NHL today such as Connor McDavid, Connor Bedard, our very own alum JT Compher. It is used by over 100 NHL, CHL, and NCAA and youth organizations across North America.
The Northbrook Bluehawk coaching staff will be trained by Power Edge Pro at the start of the season. The Bluehawks will be given the patented Reactive Countering Training on-ice devices (RCT) and lesson plans to be used by the players weekly to increase their on-ice skills. The lesson plans/drills utilizing the R.C.T. on-ice devices are meant to increase multi-tasking for the players which primarily focus on the hands, feet, and intellect to fire simultaneously. Through weekly repetition, the players nervous systems "wires" these skills together by using their hands, feet, and intellect when handling the puck, and this is where development occurs to translates into in game success.
